Very nice hotel. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is situated in the middle of the small town and restaurants are within walking distant.

The small boutique hotel with a family feel atmosphere and excellent location in the middle of tiny Garriguella. Spa was a great addition to the facilities. Excellent recommendations for restaurant from the staff. If anyone wants to try traditional Catalan food, restaurant Can Battle is just 7 mins walk from the hotel. They serve absolutely delicious Spanish food and we had to come back 3 nights in a row!

Staff / owners were lovely and pleased to assist in any way. Local cuisine excellent. Small and quiet hotel, not far from the coast. Car required for touring.

You have to pay extra to use any of the spa services, including the pool or hot tub.

The room was very nice and modern, nicely decorated. The bathroom was large and clean. It is a little strange to feel as if your bathroom is actually in your room, since the dividing wall does not go all the way up to the ceiling. The beds are very comfortable and large (especially since we just came from France).

Apparently you need to book breakfast in order to be able to use the swimming pool (or pay extra on arrival when you want to use it, 10 euro/pp); and the indoor pool was our main reason for booking this hotel. When I pointed out to (and showed) the owner that this is not in any way clear on the site of booking, she started a whole discussion how that is not her fault. My main reason for telling her this, was in order to prevent other people from making this same mistake as we did. She even had me talk on the phone to a person from booking. She never tried to make up for this misconception. The owner does not understand the concept of hospitality. The hotel is very far from everything, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. For this price I am sure there are other hotels in the area that have a better price/quality.

Unfortunately , rooftop solarium not yet completed . Noise from adjacent church bells was a problem during the night

Nice small hotel, well placed on picturesque church square. Made to feel very welcome, owner was very attentive and helpful with local information. Spa was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. Bedroom was big enough for an additional bed and both bedroom and bathroom were well designed. Very pleased to find a large, magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate with a lot of choice.

I loved my stay at the Hotel Spa Vilamont. It's a family run hotel. Antic traditionnal catalan houses converted into a nice hotel, 2 steps from the church, located 15Km away from the beach and from Figueres. Ideal for people to relax and discover Garriguella, its cooperative, local restaurants and discover the region. The rooms are spacious and well designed, perfect beddings and great facility. In the evening I had some wine in the lobby and the owner spent some time to explain me the hotel. I highly recommend people to stay in this hotel. While at the hotel, we had dinner at Can Battle and it was amazing, great food & service. Plus, I got a great deal with Booking.
